Heidi Wilson Valk is a professional dressage rider and trainer whose experience with horses began in childhood with hunter and jumper show competition in New England. Her dressage career began while she was in college; she won her first championships in 1984 at Second and Third Level. In 1991, she was one of the youngest riders in the United States League Finals for the Volvo Dressage World Cup, and she had many top-three finishes in FEI Volvo World Cup dressage competition.

Heidi began training horses and riders in the art of classical dressage in 1992 and she works with both horses and riders at all levels. She enjoys preparing horses and riders for FEI competition, overcoming training challenges, and helping both horse and rider achieve the harmony that is the essence of classical dressage.
